There have been quite a few changes in my hectic life, the most notable being I got promoted at work, and I am going to be a father.
I was working as a radio coordinator at Agri Connect for a local radio station, Radio Sonder Grense. The parent company of Agri Connect, the MPO, was then restructured and the big boss said he wanted me to work for him as Communication Manager. Let me explain quickly that the MPO is the parent company of six different companies, yet it does not directly control them. It's actually more complicated than that but I'll give you the short version. So now I'm the Comms Manager with five people under my command insofar as communication is concerned. It's pretty cool, being in such a position of power at 22 years of age. The people under me are older than I am, but luckily they don't mind. I only pull rank whenever I need news from their regions, that sort of thing. Their other jobs is of no concern to me. The new job also means that I will be travelling a lot. I already toured through the Western Cape two weeks ago, and I will be touring through the Free State, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal in the next month. International travel is also on the list, I can't wait.
Yours truly is also going to be a father
My fiancee is 4 months pregnant already. I'm so glad the worst of the morning sickness and mood swings are gone. We're finding out next week if it is a boy or girl. I'm hoping it's a boy, he'll definitely be a naughty one, just like me lol.
We've already decided on names, a bit early I know but who cares. If it's a boy we want to name him Tristan Taylor, and for the girl it will be Mikayla Lilly. I chose Tristan and Lilly and Juanita chose Taylor and Mikayla. Estimated due date is end of September/beginning October. The timing is not that great, because I will be doing part-time work as television presenter for an agricultural show, and I will be away a lot at that time as well.
On a sad note, my camera is in for repairs. I'm only getting her back in a week or two if I'm lucky. I still don't know what exactly is wrong, but I'll find out soon.
During th epast two weeks, whenever I switch the camera on it made a strange wirring sound, and if I pressed the shutter button it would stop. I took the lens off and it still made that sound. Then, when I took a photo, the bottom part of the photo would be cut off. So what I see through the viewfinder and what the camera takes is two different things. I'm having withdrawal symptoms, I seriously don't know if I could ever live without a camera ever again.
That's all for now, ciao!

The more massive an object is, the more gravity it contains, which explains why it is harder to get ketchup out of the bigger glass ketchup bottles. More importantly it is also why a big screen tv collects more dust than a hoover.
